Privacy policy

When you submit our contact form we collect what you type: name, company, website URL, email, phone number if you give one, and your message. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.

The form also sends, with your message, the page you arrived on, the page you sent from, and the site that referred you — so we know where the inquiry came from. No cookies, no third-party trackers, nothing that follows you elsewhere.

Clicking the fit-call booking link sends the same, and nothing else.

Some of our mail carries a link with a printed code on it, like builttorank.com/m/BTR-XX-0000. Opening one records four things on our server: the code, the time, the URL you opened, and whether the request came from a bot rather than a person. That is how we tell which mailing you were answering. If you then send us a message or open the booking link, the code travels with it.

Some of our campaign links do the same thing. builttorank.com/roast, for example, forwards you to the homepage and records the campaign name, the time, the site that referred you, and that same bot check — no code, and nothing that identifies you. We keep the same kind of record when a visit arrives from an AI assistant, naming the assistant rather than a campaign; that record is made by your browser, so it carries no bot check.

This site runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

Our infrastructure providers process data in order to deliver the service: Vercel for hosting, which keeps standard server logs, and Resend, which delivers your form submission to us by email.

To respond to your inquiry, to deliver services you purchase, and to keep ordinary business records. That is the whole list.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Phone numbers collected for SMS purposes, and SMS consent itself, are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

If you provide a phone number, we may text you about your inquiry or engagement. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect email or phone contact about active work.

We keep inquiry and client records as long as reasonably needed for business and legal purposes, then delete them.

Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where no legal obligation requires keeping it.

Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, the new version posts here with a new effective date.
